Scholarships

Early Childhood Education Scholarships for study in 2010 are now closed.

Teach NZ has made some significant changes to its scholarships which come into effect for study starting in semester one, 2010.

TeachNZ scholarships continue to target areas where there is the highest need. In 2010 these areas are: maths, technology, physics, chemistry, home economics, te reo Māori, Māori medium and early childhood.

A comprehensive Guideline Booklet for each TeachNZ scholarship has been created to provide applicants with all the information they need to apply. The Application Forms and Guideline Booklets will be available as a downloadable PDF as each scholarship category opens (see table below). All scholarship applicants will need to meet the 2010 eligibility criteria as outlined in the Guideline Booklet.

ECE Scholarships

Early Childhood Education Scholarships for study in 2010 will open on 1 February and close on 1 March 2010. More information about these scholarships and how to apply is available here.

Please note: For 2010, there will be additional early childhood eligibility criteria for those living in the Counties Manukau area.
